How Swedish Startups Are Disrupting Silicon Valley

If someone had said ten years ago that a wave of Swedish startups would reshape Silicon Valley , most people would have shrugged and pointed to the usual giants: San Francisco, Palo Alto, Menlo Park. But here we are in 2025, and a surprising number of innovations shaking up the American tech world have the same thing in common — they were born in Sweden . It didn’t happen overnight. Swedish tech culture has been quietly maturing for decades, fuelled by a mix of strong engineering traditions, generous support for research, and a mindset that values solving real-world problems rather than just building the next shiny app. Today, that combination is paying off, and Silicon Valley has started paying close attention. The Upcoming U.S. Election: A Fascinating Perspective from Europe

The idea behind our domain name, unitedsoamerica.com, is to highlight the importance of a united America.

As someone from Europe, I find it fascinating to watch the grandeur of your election campaigns.

This blog is completely apolitical, so it doesn't matter who is campaigning

The other day, I saw Kamala Harris on the campaign trail, and it was like watching a massive music concert 😎—truly impressive. The same goes for when it's Donald Trump out there. Trump was almost assassinated and stands up saying FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT 💪 yes, it's as dramatic as it gets

What's particularly interesting is how significant your elections are, not just for the United SO America, but for us in Europe as well. It's so important that one could argue that we, too, should get a vote—perhaps a smaller "B" vote, of course, that was meant as irony 😂 We fully trust that you will choose what's best for the United States and the rest of the world, even though it can sometimes feel a bit surreal.

So, when the time comes, make sure you go out and vote. It's crucial not just for your country but for the world at large 🗽

Warm United Regards Fredric 🙌
